Part time: 20-25 hours per week

The Battle Creek Community Foundation is searching for a program assistant to support the Regional Health Alliance (RHA), a program of the BCCF. This key position will provide principal administrative support to the Director of the program. The candidate should have two to five years of related experience providing administrative support, and to assume a variety of high-level administrative details including arranging meetings and conferences, answering correspondence, assembling highly confidential and sensitive information, and answering questions as it relates to RHA and health programming.

Ideal candidates will have demonstrated superior communication (verbal and written) skills, interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills; ability to provide exceptional customer service; and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of organizational personnel. Advance skill level in use of Microsoft Office programs is necessary along with analytical skills necessary to handle semi-complex administrative details such as preparing special reports by combining data from several sources. Ability to concentrate and play close attention to detail when typing, proofing, compiling data for reports and performing related duties is essential.

The Calhoun County Visitors Bureau is seeking a part-time Sales and Services Representative - Posted 04/05/12

Description: 
This is a part-time hourly position would require some morning, evening and weekend hours, however typical hours are Monday - Friday, 1 - 5 pm.  This individual will assist the Director of Sales and Services in promoting Calhoun County as a destination for meetings, conventions, groups, sports and events.  In addition, the Sales and Services Representative will coordinate follow-up and servicing of any groups visiting Calhoun County including coordinating group housing.  This position works closely with area hotels and facilities. 

Qualifications: 
At least an Associate’s Degree is preferred as well as customer service or sales experience.  Experience in hospitality sales and service is a plus.  Ability to meet and effectively communicate in person and by telephone.  Skilled use of the internet and Microsoft Office Software and database management.
