Battle Creek Boychoir and Girls Chorus: A Christmas Festival Concert
Saturday, December 20, 2014
Joining the choirs as featured guest artist will be Michael Ryan, tenor. Ryan is an alumnus of the Battle Creek Boychoir and holds both Bachelor of Arts and Master of Music Degrees in Vocal Performance from the University of Michigan. He has toured with the Santa Fe Opera and has been a resident artist of the Toledo Opera and the Banff Center for the Arts in Canada. He has performed as guest artist for the Cleveland Opera, the Phoenix Symphony, The Detroit Chamber Winds and Strings, and many other noteworthy engagements.

Ars Voce, an a cappella ensemble of twelve voices, will also be featured on the program, as will the traditional candlelight processional and audience carols with choral descants. In addition, this concert will mark the re-introduction of the Choir of Men and Boys.

Wanza Grantier will accompany from the organ, and a string duo will provide additional instrumental support. More than 60 performers, spanning eight decades in age, will be involved in this notable event.

New Years Eve Celebration

This New Years Eve, make plans to attend this celebration sponsored by Ciroc Utra Premium Vodka.

Tickets (which will go on sale soon) will be selling at $40 per person or $75 per couple.

The evening will feature a DJ, dancing, hors d'vouvres buffet, coat check, and an eight piece R&B band, The Saints of Soul. Spend the night in downtown Battle Creek by taking advantage of the special rate secured at McCamly Plaza Hotel (with free shuttle service) for just $99.

Buffet dinner, catered by Pasche's and Laura's Catering will be available for $37/person. The dinner, an additional add on to your ticket price, will include appetizers, dinner and dessert. Selections include a prime rib carving station, seafood newberg, chicken marsala and herb crusted pork loin.

Complementary champagne toast at midnight.

Doors Open: 8 PM
Dinner Ticket Holders: Admission begins at 6 PM, dinner served at 7 PM.
